Who operates Firantey
Firantey is operated by TanujLabs Pvt. Ltd. (“TanujLabs”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the Firantey traveler service and the interactions it enables with marketplace businesses.
Information we collect
- Account details: email address, username, optional name, profile photo and bio. If you sign in with Google, we receive account information Google provides, including your email address.
- Travel content: posts, descriptions, photos, tags, categories, and the location coordinates you choose to attach to a post.
- Location for discovery: if you grant browser location permission, your current coordinates may be sent to Firantey to find nearby posts. You can deny permission and explore using the map instead. A location attached to a published post is visible with that post.
- Interactions: messages, enquiries, reviews, replies, votes, reports, blocks, and related notifications.
- Support: the subject and details you submit through a feedback or report form, along with your account email so we can respond.
- Technical and security information: authentication and service requests needed to keep accounts working, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, show travel posts and places, deliver messages and notifications, operate marketplace enquiries, respond to support requests, moderate content, and maintain the service. We do not use browser location to publish a post; a post’s location is included when you choose to create and share a location-tagged post.
What other people can see
Your username, public profile details, posts, photos, and the location you attach to a post can be visible to other Firantey users. Messages are shown to the participants in that conversation. Support staff may review messages or reports when needed to investigate a report, address safety concerns, or provide support. Do not include sensitive personal information in public posts or messages.
Service providers and external services
We use service providers to host and operate Firantey, deliver sign-in emails, and support Google sign-in. When you follow a marketplace link or open directions in a map service, that service’s own privacy terms apply. The Firantey marketplace is available at marketplace.firantey.me.
Security and retention
We use safeguards intended to protect account and service information. No online service can promise absolute security. We retain information while it is needed to operate your account and the service, handle support or safety matters, and meet applicable obligations. Deleted posts may remain in backups or records for a limited period, or where retention is needed to resolve disputes or enforce our terms.
Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to allow browser location, edit profile details, and decide what content you publish. To ask a question, request access or correction, or ask us to close your account and remove associated information where possible, contact [email protected] or use the support form. We may need to retain some records for safety, dispute resolution, or legal reasons.
Children and policy updates
Firantey is not designed for children to create accounts without appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the current version on this page and update the date above.
