Alameda Creek Overlook😊
Alameda Creek Overlook is a scenic gorge and hiking destination inside Sunol Wilderness Regional Preserve, formerly known as Little Yosemite . Its appeal comes from Alameda Creek cascading among large rocks in a rugged, surprisingly wild corner of the East Bay.
What makes it worth visiting
The overlook sits about two miles upstream from the Sunol Visitor Center . The surrounding preserve combines creekside woodland, oak-studded hills, sandstone formations, wildlife, and particularly attractive spring wildflowers. The creek and gorge tend to be especially scenic during the wetter part of the year.
